Do you need more MLM leads to build your business? Not sure how to get them?
With the dawning of the internet in the 1990’s and the explosion of online activity and business, it’s not surprising that our “offline” relationships have begun taking a back seat to our online relationships – social media, Facebook, email, etc.
Traditional MLM lead generation – finding network marketing leads through meeting people one-on-one – has virtually become non-existent.
A few really smart people have discovered the secret to generating leads online and they’ve been able to blow old traditional methods out of the water.
But what exactly is it that they’re doing?
I struggled with this myself for years during the late 90’s (And rightly so, as I was doing it all wrong)
Most MLM companies prohibit their independent distributors (you and I) from blatantly acting as though we represent them.
“We’re not allowed to mention the company name and (in some cases) the products and services by name online.”
And those are the biggest restrictions along with all of the many others we have after signing the agreement or purchasing our membership.
Become an expert in the “topic” or “area” that your company’s products or services deal with.
What’s the simplest, easiest way to do that?
Build a WordPress website that provides good content (created by you) on that topic, gain a following, and build your own email list.
From there, you will literally have people from all over the globe asking you what company, product and/or service you promote. And wanting to join you.
See, the online world is really kind of representative of the offline world in a number of ways.
The biggest similarity is in multi-level marketing.
In the offline world, we don’t just walk up to someone and say,”I have this great elixir from <My Great Company> that makes you look and feel younger, lose weight and it gets rid of your bills forever! Wanna buy some?”
You can get punched in the face for that. (Don’t ask me how I know that)
You have to use magnetic marketing to simply show everyone that you know a lot about <what the thing is your product or service does> and you just want to help as many people achieve that as possible.
Now, I’ll show you in detail how to do these steps in my Free Video Series, but basically to create an online presence and generate network marketing leads online, you will do the following:
1. Set up a WordPress website – Purchase a domain name, point it to your web host, and set up WordPress on that web host with a professional theme.
2.Create pages, blog posts and videos that are keyword-focused around the topic you choose to be the expert in – Create content that appeals to those that would purchase your product or service (and really to those that want to learn and know more about the subject/topic).
3.Develop an email list that subscribers and readers of your blog opt-in to to get more information about – Provide your website visitors a free video series, ebook or other information that sincerely helps them solve a problem. Then keep those list subscribers updated each time you create a new post, video or piece of content. You can provide links to your rep website to sell your products or services. And at some point, for those that are interested, you can show them what your company opportunity is (and you may have to hold some of those MLM leads back and be a little choosy about who you work with – just sayin’).
